Be ready to stand tall this season with the latest drop from adidas Originals.
The adidas Forum Mid and Low is set to be the must-have of the summer.
When it was first released back in 1984 the adidas Forum was one of the most expensive shoes on the market, with a price tag of $100 as well as being one of the first trainers to release in high, mid and low silhouettes making them the ultimate flex.
Designed by Jacques Chassaing the adidas Forum was originally released as a basketball shoe. Chassaing wanted to create a basketball shoe that recognised the diversity of athletes and their roles.
His designs located the weak point in the ankle and took inspiration from bands used by the physiotherapists to stabilise to create the ‘criss-cross ankle system’, which embraces and protects the ankle during play.
The adidas Forum was also the trainer of choice for Michael Jordan during the 1984 Olympic basketball trials in the USA.
Now the adidas trainer is the ultimate combination of a retro aesthetic and high-quality construction and is a stand out silhouette on both the courts and the streets.
The adidas Forum still features the adjustable hook-and-loop ankle strap which provides comfort, support and freedom alongside a high-quality leather and synthetic upper to keep your rotation looking on point.
A rubber cupsole has been paired with a durable outsole for long-lasting strength and perforated holes dotted across the leather upper makes these shoes breathable and perfect for the summer months.
Available in a triple black or white and blue colourway the adidas Forum keeps to tradition with an embellished adidas Originals Trefoil on the mid-quarter panel and tongue, alongside the classic 3-stripes in its usual spot.
