The retro re-release of this year so far, the Air Max 97 OG ‘Silver Bullet’ is the one to cop this week.
Inspired by Japanese bullet trains, this unique sneak first hit the shelves back in 1997. Now, 20 years on, it’s back with a bang, with a huge drop that’s set to see this silhouette fly as fast as the first time.
The latest drop is a re-release of the original silhouette – a streamlined, silver colourway that was way ahead of its time not only in terms of its colourway, but also the technology that Nike utilised throughout.
A lightweight running silhouette with a singular, full length Max Air cushioning across the length of the sole, the Silver Bullet is one of Nike’s most recognisable Air Max designs.
The new addition brings some updated aspects to the sneaker however, with a mesh, no sew upper and a tape style OG branded heel tab.
Set to drop at Footaslyum online and in selected stores on 13/04/17 at 08:00AM, make sure you’re around to cop yours.
