Tommy Jeans
Move over sailing club aesthetic, Tommy Jeans is the go-to brand for gaining some serious streetwear clout.
Tommy Jeans has always had a bit more edge than the other benchmark preppy labels like Ralph Lauren and Brooks Brothers. For one thing Tommy Hilfiger’s clothes have often had an extra boldness and vivacity about them - a characteristic that started to attract a Hip Hop crowd in the early 90s, immediately steering the brand away from the sailing club and onto the streets. From that moment on – driven by the patronage of rap royalty like Snoop Doggy Dogg, Russell Simmons, Raekwon, Aaliyah and Grand Puba - Tommy Hilfiger has had serious streetwear clout, without sacrificing the label’s Ivy League associations. Featuring a modern twist on Tommy Hilfiger, Tommy Jeans are renowned for their American style and casual designs - taking streetwear to a new level of contemporary. Tommy Jeans’ signature flag branding is instantly recognisable, a perfect match for a casual/off-duty vibe.
