Back in 2006, Kidulthood was big news. A small time British drama starring Noel Clarke, Adam Deacon and Nicholas Hoult, it quickly became a cult classic. The story of a group of troubled teenagers growing up in East London, it hit home for a lot of people and received a sequel (Adulthood) just two years later.
Bringing the series to a close, Brotherhood is written and directed by Noel Clarke, who also returns to his role as Sam. What’s even more interesting is the introduction of Yardz, a brand new character played by everyone’s favourite big man with a beard: Stormzy.
The rest of the details are under pretty tight wraps, but if the trailer is anything to go by, we’ve got a lot to look forward to.
Brotherhood drops in cinemas later this year. Check it out:
