The classic Cortez silhouette saw a decent amount of hype last year, and with more and more high-profile names being seen in Nike’s first track shoe, we’re expecting it to be even bigger in 2017.
A blast from the past, the Nike Cortez OG is back on shelves. For those of you who aren’t acquainted with the incredible OG colourway, this White/Red/Royal Blue combo is serious business.
Not only is it the very first colour scheme to grace Nike’s original track design, it was also seen on the feet of Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump, and we all know how good at running he was.
There've been a few Cortez drops in the OG colourway in recent times, but what sets this launch apart is the use of OG materials. Constructed from crisp, white leather with red Nike branding to heel and sidewalls, a Royal Blue strip runs along the midsole properly setting these sneaks off.
Now available at Footasylum, flex it like Forrest in a pair of these iconic kicks.
