One of the biggest parties in the world, Glastonbury Festival returns this weekend for its 46th year – complete with one of the best line ups that Worthy Farm has ever seen.

A contemporary music festival with over 150 stages, Glastonbury is famed around the world for its huge mix of artists and guest speakers, attracting 135,000 festival goers each year.

Solange 

Although known to most as the youngest sibling in the Knowles family, Solange has been working hard over the years to create her own sound away from that of her sister’s- the result being soulful, funk inspired melodies.

Solange’s latest album ‘A Seat At The Table’ was released towards the end of last year to much critical acclaim. Featuring artists such as Lil Wayne, Sampha and Kelly Rowland, the album quickly reached number one in the United States.

Nines

One of the rising stars of UK rap, Nines is a London based rapper whose name has become synonymous with the hip-hip rap scene in the British capital.

With his debut album ‘One Foot Out’ reaching number 2 in the iTunes chart after its initial release, and his latest single ‘High Roller’ featuring J Hus, it’s easy to see why Nines is making such a name for himself in the rap world.

Mura Masa

A Guernsey born DJ, producer and songwriter, Mura Masa has been making big waves over the past few years with his electro beats and collabs.

Most famed for his single with American rapper A$AP Rocky, entitled ‘Love$sick, and work with Charlie XCX, Mura Masa has also worked alongside Stormzy to co-write the track ‘First Things First’ which appeared on his number 1 album ‘Gang Signs and Prayers’.

AJ Tracey

One of the biggest names of the moment, AJ Tracey is a West London based grime MC. Named amongst the likes of Stormzy and Novelist, this fresh-faced artist has been spotted on the festival circuit for the past few years.

After being named on the BBC Sound of 2017 list last year, AJ’s career has constantly been on the up, with him currently working on a new mixtape with acclaimed hip-hop producer Zaytoven.

Mist

An up and coming, hotly-tipped rapper from Birmingham, Mist is promising big things for the near future.

Starting out by dropping numerous mixtapes and freestyles, Mist quickly rose to fame after getting millions of hits online, which he swiftly followed up with his first EP ‘M I S to the T’.

From there, Mist appeared on Charlie Sloth’s BBC Radio 1Xtra feature Fire in the Booth.
