The sneakers start with a mesh base, building up from there with a TPU coating inspired by the scale-like armour of the traditional Japanese samurai.
Six colourways land at Footasylum on launch, including Black/Black and White/White. Each features a speckled midsole designed to draw attention to the visible GEL layer.
