One of the UK’s finest, Skepta, has been big in the grime scene since the early 00s. Starting his music career as a DJ with Broughton based outfit ‘Meridian Crew’, Skeppy produced a number of instrumentals and singles before the crew broke up 2005.
Moving on to the mic, he joined Roll Deep with his brother, JME, before they both went on to found Boy Better Know in 2006.

His fourth studio album, Konnichiwa, (which landed earlier this month) has already smashed it by becoming grime’s highest charting album, reaching number 2 in the charts.
We’ve taken one of Skepta’s strongest looks and recreated it using Footasylum gear. Check it out and learn what it takes to dress like the grand master of grime:

Don of the Tracksuit Mafia, you'll normally catch Skepta in his own garms, Supreme gear, or Nike. Repping a Nike tracksuit in the video for 'It Ain't Safe', the Nike Tech Fleece tracky is almost a perfect alternative.
Two essential pieces constructed from lightweight, dual-faced jersey material come together to create a comfortable everyday getup. Keeping the asthetics clean, we've matched it with a pair of black Nike Air Max 90 and completed the look a Nike swoosh curved cap.
Shut it down with Skepta's look and keep your outfit game ready for the street.
