While rappers aren't exactly known for their cheerful holiday tracks, a few artists have put out some festive crackers over the years. Have a listen to our favourites below.

Run D.M.C. - Christmas In Hollis

Top of the list and definitely the best Christmas rap ever recorded, Run-D.M.C. dropped this track in 1987, giving us the story of Christmas in their neighbourhood Hollis (Queens, New York).

Wiley - Cheer up, It's Christmas

As the title suggests, this 2011 track from Wiley is basically all about making the most of the Christmas period and moaning a bit less!

Destiny's Child - 8 Days Of Christmas

A favourite for RnB fans, Destiny's Child dropped this in 2000, as part of their album Writing's On The Wall. Check out the video if you want to see the girls decked out in Santa gear.

Ludacris - Ludacrismas

We couldn't even tell you what this song is about, except that we know all Ludacris wanted for Christmas that year was "two gold teeth".

Kanye West ft Big Sean, Pusha T - Christmas In Harlem

Produced by Hit-Boy, this six minute Christmas rap lets each rapper take it in turns to tell their own story of the holidays.
