In 1987, the face of sneaker culture was shifted forever with the launch of the iconic Nike Air Max 1, and since then the Air Max collection has never strayed far from the spotlight. Today marks the launch of the Air Max OG 1 in the University Red colourway, a re-release of the coveted red, white and grey design that started it all. 



Paying homage to its ancestors, the Air Max OG 1 has been recreated in the original materials that made it the holy grail for sneakerheads. With a silhouette that’s been dubbed the ‘golden era shape’, this commemorative sneaker features a soft mesh upper, grey suede overlays and a white air unit. The addition of a side swoosh and branding to the tongue completes a well-balanced aesthetic that remains as relevant as it is retro.
