A second generation of the original silhouette, the R2 was initially unveiled back at the start of the year. Now, adidas are bringing the much-loved sneak back, with an updated look and two more colourways.
Unlike its predecessor, the R1, we’ve not seen much of the R2 over the past few months, but the drop of the latest colourways could mark the start of a big 2017 for this silhouette.
Known as the Core Red Pack, both sneakers feature scarlet coloured outsoles, medial bumpers and heel tabs.
With either an all-black or all-white upper to choose from, both colourways have an all-new full length Boost sole, which feature more cushioning than previous releases of the shoe.
The outer bumpers have also been replaced with indents which sit on the side of the sole, with the inner bumpers being reduced down to one, which sits near the heel.
