After announcing the drop of a brand new silhouette at the tail end of last year, adidas Originals Arkyn is finally available to get your hands on from April 5th.
Touted as an idea brought together by countless inspirations, the Arkyn is a brand new lifestyle sneaker blending the best of adidas’ technical expertise with contemporary design.
Taking design cues from the extensive archive, the silhouette has been designed with creatives in mind – the advertising campaign led by Kendall Jenner and a handful of artists and musicians, including Boca Juniors pro Florencia Galarza, showcasing authenticity and diversity of style.
A technical mesh upper is supported by a unique lacing system that criss-crosses the full width of the forefoot, providing lightweight and flexible support. Underfoot, a full-length boost midsole makes the Arkyn a seriously comfortable addition to adi’s Women’s line-up.
Described by the brand as a shoe inspired by the ‘archive and the future’ the sock-like construction is finished off with three stripe branding and a contrasting neoprene heel counter. With a concept driven by the acceptance of multifaceted creativity, like the recently disruptive Deerupt the Arkyn is a shoe that exists outside of the typical internet hype machine.
Dropping on Thursday 5th April at 8am, the Arkyn is set to be the Boost shoe of the summer.
