Take a look below and check back on Thursday to see how we did.

BEST NEWCOMER

Nominees:
Yungen
Sinead Harnett
Snakehips
J Hus
George The Poet
Nick Brewer
Bonkaz
Nao
Section Boyz
Bugzy Malone

Our winner: Sinead Harnett

Not the newest "newcomer" on the scene, as she's featured alongside many top artists' project over the last few years (Disclosure, Rudimental and Wiley to name a few). That aside, this singer-songwriter has moved straight into her own lane, with strong vocals and her own style. She's leaving a lasting impression on our ears and deserves to take home Best Newcomer.

(Update) Winner: Section Boyz

BEST HIP-HOP ACT

Nominees:

Lady Leshurr

Little Simz

Nines

Krept and Konan

Akala

Our winner: Krept and Konan

We take our hats off to this UK hip-hop duo. They've broken down the transatlantic barrier, becoming globally known for their UK hip-hop tracks and blistering punchlines. Having dropped their debut studio album this year featuring the likes of Rick Ross and Wiz Khalifa (which charted in the UK at number two) things are just starting out for these two South London boys.

(Update) Winner: Krept and Konan

BEST RNB/SOUL ACT

Nominees:

Joss Stone

Lianne La Havas

Shakka

Andreya Triana

Kwabs

Our winner: Kwabs

This 25 year old London singer has to be commended for his strong presence and powerful vocals. Kwabs is a brilliant performer whose profile exploded with the massive single 'Walk' and a huge debut album Love + War. He won't pick this award up by accident - fully deserved.

BEST ALBUM

Nominees:

Wiley Snakes & Ladders

Krept and Konan The Long Way Home

Lianne La Havas Blood

JME Integrity

Jamie XX In Colour

Our winner: Krept and Konan

When you're a relative newcomer to the UK hip-hop scene and your debut album reaches number two you know you're making an impression on the music scene. This a huge category and the quality is supreme, but we think K&K deserve to pick up this award.

(Update) Winner: Krept and Konan

Lethal Bizzle 'Fester Skank'

BEST SONG

Nominees:

JME ft. Giggs 'Man Don't Care'

Krept and Konan 'Freak Of The Week'

Tinie Tempah ft. Jess Glynne 'Not Letting Go'

Skepta 'Shutdown'

Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars 'Uptown Funk'

Our winner: Skepta

Skepta's 'Shutdown' took the country by storm, leaving the word "shutdown" as the ultimate party tagline of the year. The grime tune is an absolute banger, and Drake even celebrated that fact by bringing him out to perform at this year's Wireless Festival. We're sure he's going to shut down this category and take the award.

(Update) Winner: Skepta

BEST FEMALE ACT

Nominees:

Jess Glynne

Lianne La Havas

Ella Eyre

Little Simz

FKA Twigs

Our winner: Jess Glynne

Jess Glynne has shown us that she's capable of bringing out number one singles, hit after hit. With Jess' soulful tone and go-get-'em charisma, she definitely needs to take home this award.

(Update) Winner: Ella Eyre

BEST MALE ACT

Nominees:

Stormzy

JME

Krept and Konan

Skepta

Mark Ronson

Our winner:  Skepta

He's been in the UK music scene for quite some time now, but Skepta is looked up to as an idol, a mentor to many artists and one of the main men behind the growth of today's grime scene. Although we're still awaiting Skepta's latest studio album he's been providing fans with some heavy tracks in the meantime. The grime scene is staying alive with Skepta and he's certainly our Best Male of 2015.

(Update) Winner: Stormzy
