The Air Max 97 silver bullet came back with a bang in April – 4 months on, the '90s are in full swing. You can practically hear R. Kelly’s ‘I Believe I Can Fly’.

As well as a silver bullet re-stock, the Air Max 97 Ultra is dropping in Triple Black, Navy, and Metallic Rose Gold – with a Black/ White iteration releasing at a later date.

Stripping back the metallic paintjob takes nothing away from the retro-futuristic runners appeal. The hype train for the monochromatic Triple Black colourway is showing no signs of stopping – hunger for blacked out models is still alive and well. Lightweight and versatile, the triple black is the perfect way to make a more understated nod to Nike’s 90’s classic.

The Black/White colourway stays true to the iconic shoe’s space-age influences with a black and white jacquard mesh upper, reflective strips and black synthetic overlays. A white midsole houses the toe-to-heel air unit, tied together with a black outsole.

The Women’s Metallic Rose Gold colourway takes the same mesh and synthetic upper, but incorporates shades of pink and rose gold. Again, a white midsole provides contrast with shades of pink featuring in the signature visible air units.

All colourways are set to sell out, so get in-line as soon as possible to cop your own piece of 90’s nostalgia without resorting to Spice World and a packet of Opal Fruits.

The Air Max 97 Ultra Launches on 17/8/17 online and in store.
