Raise your hand if you’ve ever been personally victimised by procrastination? Thought so. Make 2019 the year you get stuff done! That assignment, the MOT, the reaching out to an old friend, the life admin… get it done! Procrastination is a much needed saviour at times, but too much and the jobs pile up and you have to use a whole day's annual leave to sort your life out and nobody wants that!

A boring but important one that is 100% worth sticking to, if you can! We all know the pain of being bankrupt two days after pay day or the student loan drop. We all say next time will be better. We all fail and then hate ourselves a little more each time. Let’s draw a line under our nonsense spending of 2018 and see if we can make this the year we make our pay last a whole month.
Look after number 1
January is gym season for everyone, from the Greek Adonis to the dad bod squad. Whichever camp you’re in, why not make 2019 the year of self care? That doesn’t have to mean going to the gym at 4am armed with a protein shake, but just taking a little time to eat your broccoli, move more and get your eight hours. Easy!
Take a chance
In the age of the ‘gram it’s easy to constantly feel like you’re missing out and everyone is travelling the world with their golden skin and earning a million pounds an hour. But what’s stopping you? Take a chance, say yes to the trip, say yes to that date, say yes to scary, new, exciting challenges – it might be the best thing you ever do!
Treat yo’ self
Of course, what would life be without treats. No matter how big or how small, everyone deserves a treat and whether it’s something you’ve saved for or just a bit of a F it moment, go with it.
