One of Jordan’s most popular silhouettes is making a comeback this week at Footasylum. The Jordan 3 True Blue has been one of the brand's biggest releases since it first dropped in 1988.
This will be this style’s first appearance since 2011, but unlike previous releases of this sneaker, this is the first to have ‘Nike Air’ branding to the heel instead of the Jordan Jumpman.
This was done as a nod to the Nike technology used in its design and to stay true to the OG form as requested by fans. Because of this change, this means this is only the second time this edition of the True Blue has been released.
With a clean white upper, an additional elephant style animal print has been added in textured leather to the shoe’s mid-panel, heel, lace stays and toe box. The signature ‘True Blue’ colour runs throughout the design, on the Nike Air motif, lining and upper.
Available online 25/11/16 at 08:00 GMT, don’t miss out on this super rare release of an iconic Jordan silhouette.
