Tyler, the Creator’s take on the One Star is back – and back to its vibrant best following the release of the muted-but-versatile ‘mono’ collection back in April.
June 1st’s drop is the first set of two-tone sneaks the collaboration has produced. Bold, contrasting colours to the heel patch, lace guards and signature flower motif are constructed from a smoother suede than previous iterations, which really pops against the clean white midsole. Thicker laces give off a 90’s skate vibe, with a monochrome flower-pattered bottom rounding off the design updates for the ‘Two Tone Uno’ collection.
With the resurgence of the classic silhouette in the past few years, the GOLF le FLEUR x Converse One star adds a layer of exclusivity to a shoe that is already a streetwear icon; if there’s a more perfect summer shoe, we haven’t seen it.
