Founded in 1971 by David Beckerman, Starter were the first sports clothing companies to obtain a license to supply clothing to professional sports teams. Let’s not also forget one of Starter’s biggest highlights as a company - adopting DJ Jazzy Jeff as an ambassador through the 80s.
