Adidas – Sportswear Giant Adidas Plans to Celebrate 60th with a Bang
Adidas have long been established as a leading player in both the sport and fashion arena but the German sportswear label plan to use their 60th birthday celebrations in 2009 to really give Adidas footwear and clothing a platform to excel.
2009 represents the 60th anniversary for sportswear colossus, Adidas, and they aim to solidify their position as one of the world’s leading providers of sportswear and fashion clothing by launching a substantial campaign to showcase what they have in store over the next 12 months. According to a report on WWD Markets, Adidas plan to really go all out with their marketing of Adidas footwear and clothing in 2009 with a campaign called ‘Celebrate Originality’ which is set to make Adidas trainers, sportswear and clothing even more popular than it already is. Adidas is, of course, one of the big-hitters in the fashion world but they realise in order to do this, they need to keep on top of their marketing endeavours and this is the principle purpose of the ‘Celebrate Originality’ campaign that Adidas are rolling out to mark their 60th anniversary. Adidas footwear has certainly come a long way from its humble beginnings and 2009 is set to see many innovations infuse Adidas trainers and clothing that are likely to be greeted with open arms by consumers.
